LunchBox for Rhino 8 (.NET 7)
Supports: Windows + Mac
This method is for users who are running the standard/default version of Rhino 8 that runs in .NET 7. This version of LunchBox maximizes cross-platform compatibility and is installable from either the Windows or Mac operating systems including Apple Silicon Macs.
- Start a session of Rhino 8.
- Enter the command “PackageManager”. The Package Manager window will open.
- Search for the LunchBox plugin.
- Select the latest version of LunchBox, then select “Install”.
- Allow the installation process to complete.
- Restart Rhino.
Note: LunchBox is developed on Windows with nominal testing on the Mac. We have successfully tested a selection of key components on the Mac. However, we cannot guarantee that all features and functions will work with the Mac version of Rhino 8.
LunchBox for Rhino 7 + 8 (.NET Framework)
Supports: Windows Only
This method is for users who are running Rhino 7 or Rhino 8. This version of LunchBox is ideal for plugins that are exclusively using Windows or require interoperability with Rhino.Inside.Revit. Please note that Rhino.Inside.Revit runs Rhino 8 in .NET Framework compatibility mode.
- Start a session of Rhino 7 or Rhino 8.
- Enter the command “PackageManager”. The Package Manager window will open.
- Search for the LunchBox plugin.
- Select the 2023.2.2.0 version of LunchBox, then select “Install”.
- Allow the installation process to complete.
- Restart Rhino 7 or 8
