Running the Remove function in the Conveyor ClickOnce installer application fails.
Some or all of the Conveyor panels in Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper remain after running the Remove command.
Problem:
- The removal tool may be unable to find or access some of the app files on your machine.
- The user may be using a version of the ClickOnce installer that is not aligned with the installed version of Conveyor.
Solution:
You are able to manually remove Conveyor from your machine by deleting the files related to the app.
To manually remove:
1. Close all instances of Revit and Rhino.
2. If you find any files in these locations you can manuallydelete them.
- %APPDATA%\Proving Ground\Conveyor
- %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2021\ProvingGround.Conveyor.addin
- %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2022\ProvingGround.Conveyor.addin
- %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2023\ProvingGround.Conveyor.addin
- %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2024\ProvingGround.Conveyor.addin
- %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2025\ProvingGround.Conveyor.addin
3. You can also check your computer’s Registry Editor and delete the following entries:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Proving Ground\d35febfc-1ec2-4f5a-b985-c292e1ed32e3\ce9ffdb5-bf21-478e-91f0-f6e2acdc5f16
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Plug-Ins\ccf2ea6d-66d6-4714-8aea-43dfed0add5c
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McNeel\Rhinoceros\8.0\Plug-Ins\ccf2ea6d-66d6-4714-8aea-43dfed0add5c
4. Once these files are deleted, you can also uninstall the Conveyor installer application from your computer’s Add or Remove Programs menu.
